THE RECORDING WORKSHOP
With recording we have a belief that it takes practice to understand, this would be a workshop we recommend for small groups to achieve it's discipline.
We shall be trying to get across the art of recording sound in a fun and simple process. We would not expect children to be fluent in the art of recording, but we would be applying and showing what it does take in terms of teamwork and individual commitment to create a piece of music and record it.
THE TALKS ON MUSIC
Our main objective is to have the children feeling and knowing they have learned new and valuable knowledge in an exciting manner.
The history of Middle Eastern and Indian music is vast and can be very complicated. We try to create a story with the historical time-line with demonstrations of the instruments live as well as through recorded music. We shall have instruments from around the world for the children to play. This allows the children to interact with us and to understand what instruments and music are.
